Angela joined Brigitte Bell’s office in 2015 to become part of an outstanding team of mediators and Collaborative attorneys and to pursue her passion for helping others resolve their issues through a balanced, productive process. Angela’s interest in helping others started at an early age when she dedicated her free time to helping patients at a local hospital. She further developed her commitment after undergraduate studies as a public school teacher and refined her abilities in law school. After graduation she served as a family law litigator, learning enough about litigation to know there had to be a better way to deal with family problems. Even in the litigation context Angela tries to bring a welcome objectivity and practicality to the table whenever possible. Angela has regularly been recognized as an exceptional trainer, mentor and team player.

Angela is thoughtful and caring in her approach to family law matters and prides herself on the satisfaction of her clients. Angela uses her passion for helping others and professional training and experience to help her clients navigate the challenging issues of family law while using creative ways to achieve balanced resolutions that meet everyone’s needs. Clients come to Angela because of her compassion, talent and experience. She helps clients understand their legal options and works to give them personalized resolutions to their unique family law issues.

Angela is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. She is a Collaborative Law Fellow and is a Member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She received her law degree from DePaul College of Law. Angela obtained a double bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois and a teaching certificate, a license which she keeps active, from NorthEastern Illinois University in Chicago. Angela regularly attends Collaborative, Mediator and Family Law seminars to hone her skills and to keep up on cutting edge resolutions, issues, laws and technology to advance the cause of those who seek her assistance.
