Mediation Skills Training
Anyone who wants to learn to mediate, hone their mediation skills, become a Fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, get on the Domestic Relations mediator referral list, and lawyers and mental health professionals in need of CLE’s or CEU’s including new mediators and non-mediators.
40-Hour Mediation Training
October 24 & 25, October 31, and November 7 & 8.
We believe that mediation training should focus on the skills that make mediation effective, more than on the subject matter of the mediation, and we also believe that you learn it best by doing it, not just talking about it or hearing about it. In collaboration with Loyola Law School, we have put together a mediation skills training course presented twice a year (spring and fall) that preaches what we practice and gives you a chance to practice it as well.
There are also opportunities for those who want a “refresher” to update their skills.

“You renewed my faith in the world of divorce attorneys/mediators. It takes a very special kind of person to work in a field that can be so litigious and conflictual and yet approach it with complete integrity and compassion for each individual’s complex experience. I’m thrilled you’re out there.”—LF, Psychotherapist
